Mural paintings especially 3D Wall Paintings can be a great way to incorporate the customs and the culture of a society. Murals, wall paintings for the living room and drawing room can infuse life into the home interior design. We also apply artwork in the form of paintings on ceilings and other permanent surfaces.
Indian folk art has an enormous variety and range – Kalamkari, Patachitra, Warli, Madhubani, Rajput, Tanjore and several others. The Indian Himalayan region also has the popular and the colourful Pahadi painting style – Aipan, Kangra and Garhwali paintings. The Uttarakhand traditional painting is a type of the Pahadi painting style. With a rich repertoire of styles to choose from, a variety of options can be created to suit the setting and the expectations of the client.
Looking at the creative nature of wall paintings, we have been able to create a select group of local murals wall painters in Dehradun and Uttarakhand. Through them, we are able to offer a high degree of quality and reliability across our wall mural painting projects.
Before we get on to the actual site, the first thing is to put our concept design on paper.
Or, better still, if we can use software to do our conceptual design.
This exterior wall mural painting was for a Uttarakhand government project for a growth centre at Amotha in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
Growth centres are high activity areas in villages and can be a good place to showcase the traditions and customs of the region using a pahadi painting.
Among several wall mural painting designs for the growth centre at Simarkhal, this one was selected by the community leaders.
The entire process saw enormous participation from community stakeholders.
Wall mural paintings for the living room and the drawing room can be a great way to transform the home interior design. The client was delighted with the effect this wall mural painting infused into the home interior design.
While we have got used to the modern comforts and luxuries, our heart also craves for the sweet memories of our childhood and things related to our culture. It is when we are able to create a fusion and a balance between the two, we experience delight.
The objective here was to create a homestay experience which was ethnic and unique. Village women participated to create this Aipan mural painting to uplift the internal environment of the room.
This exercise was a WIN-WIN for everybody, the homestay owner, the village women and of course, the tourist. And, this was not limited only to the financials. It was an emotional high for everyone involved to have created a lively setting for a unique homestay experience.
With extensive exposure to murals painting projects in the Uttarakhand Himalayas, we have been able to create a team of talented mural wall painters in Dehradun and Uttarakhand.
Our select team of murals wall painters in Dehradun are local painters with natural flair in Pahadi painting (Uttarakhand tradtional painting) also widely known as Garhwali painting. Across projects, these mural wall painters in Dehradun and Uttarakhand have shaped up in using technology, architectural concepts and providing extremely reliable services.
With Uttarakhand becoming a state and Dehradun its capital, interest in wall murals painting has picked up significantly. Wall murals paintings depicting the traditional customs have been part of city squares, char rasta(s) at various points. They are also common in defence establishments, hotels and restaurants.
Over time, we foresee more murals paintings coming up. With the state having its own pahadi painting style, Uttarakhand traditional painting (Aipan, Kangra and Garhwali painting) will get a strong boost.
More and more people are incorporating murals paintings in their living rooms and bedrooms. All of these translate into a growing practice for talented murals wall painters in Dehradun and Uttarakhand.
“As architects, we need to make our imagination and creativity work harder. Architecture is best ethnic and local and it cannot be without our heritage.
It also needs to caress our senses and soothe the soul. Wall mural painting is an extremely effective means to achieve this goal.”
